Seven minutes from Bright, located on absolute riverfront Freeburgh Cabins & Caravan Park can be your base for a whole range of activities close by, including:
Fish for Trout at the local Trout farm,
Go horseback trail riding,
Visit the Wandiligong maze,
Drive to Mt Hotham, Mt Buffalo or Falls Creek,
Visit the famous townships of Beechworth & Yackandandah,
Visit many local wineries then back to your "tranquillity base".
"Unique, natural, tranquil and relaxing" are some of the words used by our visitors who just keep coming back. The atmosphere here is unique. Kids on their bikes, having a ball in the large heated pool, playing in the rock pools in the river, table tennis, pool or watching TV in the games room, and enjoying organised games on the large sports oval.
When evening arrives, light your own personal camp fire and toast marshmellows under the stars (so close you can almost touch them)and tell your kids stories of what it was like when you were a kid out bush.
