Bairnsdale Holiday Park has a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, as well as a large variety of shady sites for those who bring their caravan or tent.
Families, backpackers, couples and groups are all welcome. We have many facilities for you to enjoy in the park, take a ride on the tractor to help feed all the animals in our very own fauna park school holiday only, having a hit of tennis, or playing table tennis in our games room.
Bairnsdale is located just over three hours drive from Melbourne, and only minutes from the Gippsland Lakes. It is the perfect base to explore the lakes, rivers, mountains, coasts and forests of the region.
Set along the Mitchell River, East Gippslands only city, Bairnsdale is the western gateway to the wonders of the region. The Great Alpine Road provides a pictorial drive to the alpine regions of Omeo, Dinner Plain and Mount Hotham. The road to Dargo in the High Planes region and Bruthen passes through the Mitchell River National Park, famous for canoeing and kayaking.
Bairnsdales modern shopping and commercial facilities are set amid many fine old buildings such as the Court House and St Marys Church. The wide main streets of Bairnsdale provide a garden atmosphere between the East and West bound lanes, popular for relaxing during a busy days shopping.
