Welcome to Koondrook Caravan Park in the historic redgum township of Koondrook. The park is situated on the banks of the Murray River and Gunbower Creek.
The park overlooks Gunbower Island red gum state forest which is the largest inland Island in the Southern Hemisphere with an abundance of fauna flora. Koondrook shares the Murray with its twin town of Barham (New South Wales)
Located about 300km northwest of Melbourne on the Victoria / NSW border, Koondrook is famous for its forest industry and for building paddle steamers in the 1800s. 20 minutes to Kerang, and just one hour to Swan Hill, Echuca and Deniliquin.
Come and experience the RED GUM FESTIVAL held on the first Sunday in November (Melbourne Cup Weekend)! There are tours and all sorts of fun for the whole family!
More recently tourism has also become important with the area offering many activities including sailing, windsurfing, fishing, boating, cruising on the river swamplands, camping and bushwalking.
Our accommodation includes Ensuite cabins, Ensuite powered sites together with Powered and Unpowered sites.
Things to see and do while staying with us include:

- Visit the licenced cluBarham just across the river in Barham, which offers inexpensive meals and pokies.
- Play Golf or Bowls,
- Go fishing in the Murray at the back of our park
- Bushwalking and Birdwatching
